He was awarded a Ph.D. for his thesis "Determinants of the Power of States in the Council of the European Union and the European Council".
In 2012 he was laureate of the Prof. Czesław Mojsiewicz prize for the best doctoral thesis organised by the Board of the Polish Political Science Society.
His main research interests are focused on the process of European integration with particular emphasis on decision-making in the European Union.

dr Dorota Kamińska-Jones - Congress secretary
Assistant Professor in the Section of the History of Modern Art of the Nicolaus Copernicus University. She also teaches Indian arts and aesthetics at the University of Warsaw (major: indology).
Her research interests include the arts and culture of India, particularly from the Empire period, feminism, colonialism and inter-cultural relations.
She is the author of three books and a number of articles dedicated to the above issues, and the editor of the yearbook Art of the Orient (Adam Marszałek Publishing House).
Her latest book, entitled Kobieta, sztuka i kolonizacja (The Woman, Art and Colonisation) will be published in 2017.
She is a member of the European Association for South Asian Studies and the Polish Institute of World Art Studies.
